Our ceremony has a new spot.
Still in the Royal Botanic Gardens, just a little further along the harbour. We're now saying "I do" on Tarpeian Lawn — the lawn above the Opera House with the bridge in full view. Everything else about the day stays exactly as planned.

Getting there
Arriving on the day
Two options depending on how you're travelling — both drop you a short, flat-ish walk from the lawn.
Uber, taxi & step-free drop-off
Coming by rideshare or taxi, or would rather not walk far? Use this drop-off point instead — it's the closest accessible drop-off to the ceremony lawn.

This is the closest accessible drop-off point to the ceremony lawn — please use it if anyone in your car has limited mobility.
Driving & parking
We recommend the Sydney Opera House car park. It's roughly a 10 minute walk from there up to the ceremony lawn.
Parking is about $20 per hour. Booking a full day online in advance should work out cheaper.
Parking at the reception
Parking near Orso Bayside
Two council car parks sit right by the reception, one on each side of the Spit Bridge. Both charge the same, and both are free once the evening gets going.
Option 1 — Spit West Reserve
On the western side of the Spit Bridge, a short walk around to Orso.

Parking is free after 6:00pm, so if you arrive close to the reception start you may not pay anything at all.
If the weather turns
Our wet weather plan
Sydney in September can go either way. If the weather makes the outdoor ceremony unworkable, we'll move it to our reception venue, Orso Bayside in Mosman — same day, just undercover.
